BSAEDC acts as a clearing house for local, state and federal
business assistance programs, job training and capital attractions, as well as maintains a
repository of local demographic and business climate information.
The corporation,
also provides technical assistance through the Small
Business Development Center [SBDC],
Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center [Maine PTAC]
and Maine Centers
for Women, Work & Community to businesses seeking to obtain financial
assistance for the purpose of starting, locating or expanding in the Biddeford-Saco
area. Additionally, BSAEDC maintains a complete small business library of
educational books, videos and access to computers to assist entrepreneurs with turning
their dream into a paying enterprise.
